Rebuild My Head option: we send you a shipping label and you send us your head. We rebuild it and send it back to you.
Purchase In-Stock Upgraded Head option: We send you a complete upgraded head and you do not need to return a core.
Our rebuilt heads go through a very in-depth and detailed process. Some of the highlights are:
- Complete dissasembly
- Hot tank cleaning
- Media blast cleaning
- Upgraded bronze valve guides installed
- Valve guides bored to spec for new valves
- Valve seats machined
- Valves lapped
- Tappets machined to spec tolerance
- Cam bores inspected
- Cam lobes inspected
- Valve seals replaced
- Complete reassembly
If camshafts need to be replaced or you want to upgrade them, there will be additional charges.
